The Document is dated 21/03/1944 and marked Führerhauptquartier and Geheime Reichssache.

Otto Telschow (27 February 1876, Wittenberge, Brandenburg - 31 May 1945), a German Nazi official, was born in Wittenberge and became a police official in Hamburg. He joined the Nazi Party in 1925, and was the founder of the regional Nazi newspaper, the Niedersachsen-Stürmer. In October 1928, Telschow was appointed Gauleiter of the Nazi party's regional subsection Gau Ost Hanover, a post he retained until the end of World War II. Telschow gained more influence after 1935, when the Nazi-party Gau usurped the functions of the streamlined German States. In 1930 he was elected to the Reichstag for the Ost-Hannover electoral district, and remained a member until 1945. He was taken prisoner by the British Army at Luneburg and committed suicide in prison by slashing his wrists.
All the cards and letters are replies for sending birthday wishes to his colleagues.
The group is in good condition only very minor wear to the edges of the letters, the only damage is to the large telegram sent by Hitler which has a tear along the fold.
All signatures are original ink signed apart from the 2 stated.

Ernst Zeller servered with Artillerie-Regiment 114 part of the 46. Infanterie Division. This saw Ersnt take part in the early campaigns victories in the East. The division was heavily committed on the Crimean peninsula where Ernst took part in both the offensive and defensive battle.
In 1942/43 was transferred to the western Caucasus where it formed the rearguard of the XXXIX Gerbris Krop in the subsequent retreat. Later it fought in the Donets, at Belgorod, in the battle of Dnepropetrovsk where the division was seriously damaged. The division took more heavy casualties in the retreating battles across southern Ukraine in the subsequent months.
It was in these battles that Ernst was awarded the Ritter Kreuz. Despite its reduced numbers the 46. Infanterie Division distinguished itself in the withdrawal through Transylvanian. Ernst was Killed in action on the 22/08/1944.
An outstanding Ritter Kreuz grouping which has many personal items. This group is in need of much more research.
